PCSX2 doesn't save in user-configured directories; always keeps folders in DocumentsPCSX2 even when other directories are specified.
I applied your recommended settings but when I try to open it says 'The file could not be created' Path: C: Program Files PCSX2 1.2.1 BIOS scph30004.nvm. If you do not have full administrator rights with the User Account Control disabled, then you will just need to move the emulator from the 'Program Files' directory to another one outside of it. I see you are trying to run PCSX2 in the Program Files folder. To be able to create/edit any files inside this folder, the program should be running with administrative rights.Try to create a folder for your emulators inside Documents for example and keep your PCSX2 in there. Doing this way it should work.
-PCSX2 version: Any GIT version from August 29th or later.
-PCSX2 options: Defaults, no settings modifications affect the issue
-Plugins used: GSdx, SPU2-X, LilyPad, the rest are null plugins
-Plugin settings: Defaults, no settings modifications affect the issue.
-Description: PCSX2 forces settings/folders to be created under 'UserDocumentsPCSX2' instead of any other user-specified directory. Even when manually overriding some of the directories it still maintains certain files/folders in that forced directory. Manually editing directories in the INI files does NOT solve this issue.
-How to replicate: Download any git version from August 29th or later, extract to any folder outside of Documents and try to specify your directories. Despite all efforts you will be forced to have files in Documents even if you want them all in one place. puNES does something similar but PCSX2 avoided this terrible practice prior to the Aug 29th git download.
-Last known version to work: v1.5.0-dev-1214-gda68811 and any versions prior to August 29th.
-PC specifications: Win7 SP1 x64; other specs not applicable.
Other comments: Let us specify whatever user-specific directories we want all files and folder to be placed within.

Hi, before everything, thanks to djvj for the really good job with Rocket Launcher :)
I was trying to use PCSX2 module, and wanted to use the per game configs option. But when you use a new game, is it possible to tell RocketLauncher to create a folder for this new game (..Game ConfigsGameName), and copy all default plugins ini files in it? It would be a lot easier to configure a particular game and not modifying default ini files by keeping pcsx2 window visible (by enabling option in RL) to access PCSX2 plugins options after launching game.
Yes, we still can copy-paste ini files into a copy-pasted game name folder but it's more time consuming when you have many ISO or GZ files...and it will be more clean than creating a batch file like
for %%i in ('*.gz') do mkdir '..Game Configs%%~ni'
......
Thanks for help
